Jazmine: I have nothing to say to you, Huey, until you apologize. Huey: Well, I will say some of my recent observations may have been better left unsaid. Jazmine: Oh! I accept! Now we can be friends again. I knew you were only teasing about that afro stuff. Huey: I didn't say that. You most certainly do have an afro. Jazmine: Stop saying that! I have good hair! I don't have an afro - you're just mean!! Huey: Please, get a hold of yourself... Jazmine: No!!! I hate you. Leave me alone!!! Huey: (Sigh) 'Tis a long, hard road to afrocentric wellness.

She will see her hair every single day for the rest of her life. Her fear/hate of it, is already affecting her every single day. It’s a worthy fight to help her accept it, hopefully come to love it…it is also one that risks friendship. Sometimes a brave friend is willing to take that risk.

The irony of course is that so many Blacks straighten their hair, while so many whites curl theirs.

Why does this strip show up so much smaller than the others? Is it due to being lower resolution?

It’s interesting how these days individuals can refuse to accept the sex they are born; do everything possible to become the opposite sex, including surgery; and no one is supposed to suggest for a second it is wrong to do that. Anyone who does should be silenced and condemned! Yet if individuals refuse to accept the race they are born; and do everything to try to become another race—cosmetics, surgery, etc., it is considered wrong; and no one should hesitate for a minute to suggest to them they need to accept their race and be proud of it; that not accepting their race means they have psychological problems.

Is a simple “you look good with your afro” too hard for Huey? Hahaha!
