If memory serves, one used to see energy drink ads in the back of comic books. Along with punks kicking sand on a would-be Charles Atlas.

My biology teacher said (among other questionable things) that Alka-Seltzer makes seagulls explode. I imagine carbonated beverages wouldn’t be good for hummingbirds.

Could be Mountain Dew. It’s been around for a long time, and has a lot of caffeine. More calories than Coke and contains orange juice..Why, a Twinkie washed down with a Dew is almost a perfect meal!.Well, almost…

Every once in a while, I am so very impressed with Watterson’s talent as an artist. That hummingbird is exquisite!
