He wouldn’t be able to drink it if there wasn’t any in the refrigerator.

Did those types of energy drinks even exist when C&H was last on the drawing board? I wouldn’t have thought so.

If memory serves, one used to see energy drink ads in the back of comic books. Along with punks kicking sand on a would-be Charles Atlas.

My biology teacher said (among other questionable things) that Alka-Seltzer makes seagulls explode. I imagine carbonated beverages wouldn’t be good for hummingbirds.

Could be Mountain Dew. It’s been around for a long time, and has a lot of caffeine. More calories than Coke and contains orange juice..Why, a Twinkie washed down with a Dew is almost a perfect meal!.Well, almost…

Every once in a while, I am so very impressed with Watterson’s talent as an artist. That hummingbird is exquisite!

Lucy could use some of those chocolate frosted sugar bombs to enable her to keep her fussing up to standard.

Wikipedia says that even the smallest hummingbirds max out at 100 beats per second—Calvin is faster!

Hummingbirds don’t whir, loudly or otherwise. Their wings beat so fast that the frequency of the sound produced is too high for human hearing.
