@Jo Clear (aka; Grasshopper): I used to drink Tang untilo I noticed that the price of Tang went up whenever the price of sugar did. So then I switched to 100% orange juice.

How did Brian insert the tiny white dots (the stars) over a solid black background?

I thought Tang was developed for NASA but it was invented in 1957 and chosen to use on flight missions. http://education.ssc.nasa.gov/fft_halloffame.asp

Right on Brian. The next morning is the perfect time to toast with a breakfast drink. As I recall and is mentioned above by the nurse, the landing and 2 hour walk was at night (western hemisphere time).

We are working on the vehicle to take us back to the moon and or beyond. Count down weeks on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.631314333604969.1073741842.129562970446777&type=1 (login not required).

BTW, Brian your “What a Ride it’s Been!” with the Shuttle landing is one of my slideshow desktop photos.http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/imagegallery/image_feature_1911.html

We always have a jar of Tang in the cupboard. It’s even better with a shot of vodka; not for Red, of course…

I always admired those guys, but never more than when I heard them say on a documentary the other day, as they were suited and ready to go, that they only gave themselves a 60% chance of all getting back in one piece. Better-than-even odds, but still a lot of courage. And zero bravado or ego in evidence. One small step, three great examples.

I worked at the NASA Apollo tracking site in Hawaii and was on shift just before the landing. I watched the landing at a friend’s house. Covering Apollo missions 7-12 was the best job i ever had.

Mix Tang with instant tea, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger and you have a delicious spiced tea. Wish I still had the recipe.
