Burts5th, I actually have great sympathy for runway models. They often don’t get fitted shoes, and with the quick changes backstage, they often end up with shoes several sizes too large. It’s a real trick to do their runway walk under those circumstances.

NoBrandName, on second (well, third or fourth) glance you’re corect. I was reading the white box faces as empty space. My mistake, surely.

I guess nobody wants any of these boots…

These boots were made for sitting (or crawling). I remember friends who broke their ankles in the platforms of the 70s.
