Was there just an Olympics?

Actually, these have been exciting games, and the coverage has been better than I’ve seen in many years. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s gold medal hockey game between Canada and US.

The notes are “G-E-C” for General Electric Corporation. Could there be more trivial information than that? That’s what the internet is for.

It might be argued that the middle C should be an octave higher. Granted, in the current configuration, it does sound awfully final.

Those ARE the real NBC tones, but the last tone (middle C) is in the wrong place–should have been the c in the 3rd space, to sound right. I know, picky and petty, but there it is–the benefit of a liberal arts music education. :)

Having an Olympics every two years has not worked out, IMHO.
