I remember getting to see Hopalong Cassidy in the early 50’s when he made a personal appearance his sponsors HQ (Bond bread). I got a souvenir coin with Hoppies face on it. You would have thought I hit the Powerball. Lol! P.S. I still have it.

A lot of old monster movies were called “turkeys” and it had nothing to do with the dietary habits of the feature creature.
