We used to celebrate Christmas in July as a family. My sister and I were both born in July, and our dad was born in Australia, where Christmas is in the dead of summer, so we’d have a big party and invite our friends, sing carols and eat mince pies. The neighbors must have thought we were all crazy.

At least two baseball teams are doing “Christmas in June/July” promotions this year. I love the song “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday”.
