So, there’s the answer on why the MCU hasn’t gone to the island yet. They are not allowed. Also, I’ve been thinking that airspace over the island is restricted and that is also now confirmed. This would prevent any planes from flying directly overhead, cluing the residents in to the fact that they are not really in 1944 (if that’s the case — I’m still keeping my options open).

If Hotshot Charlie still flies a 1940’s airplane, his flyover would fit right in, wouldn’t it?

I wonder what type of aircraft Hotshot does have at his disposal. Old? New? Fast? Slow? Armed (or potentially armed, with hard points)? Rotary or fixed-wing? He may be flying into a hot “hostile environment,” and may not be adequately equipped to get out safely!

Does this mean that we might someday get to see a confrontation between Tracy and our favorite Dragon Lady? That would make for an interesting match up.

I just hope they don’t find a mysterious hatch.
