It’s okay to splish splash with clothes on, but don’t you go putting me in the water without them!!

Maybe she wants to get in by herself. With toddlers, it’s sometimes all about control.

Little kids LOVE water, its only when soap is added they hate it.

with the first 3 panels, she is able to wash herself and the clothes, with the bath, well, let her get in the tub with her clothes on then take them off

I think the point is that it’s no fun if you HAVE to do it.

Hang a bar of soap around her neck and she will keep her self clean all day..lol

EWWWWWWWWWWWW! That is so absolutely GROSSS! I am very glad Elly as a mother catches Lizzie on time whenever she sees Lizzie playing in that toilet bowl with full of germs and bacterias, in the pail with full of filthy water and smell and dog dish with a lot of dog’s germs. Voila! It’s time for Lizzie to take a bath with full of bubble soap that will make her more cleaniness and fresh!

I have read this comic and enjoyed the … interesting… comments for years. I’ve never cared enough to sign up so that I could post before now. But I had to respond to an earlier post.

howtheduck - keep them coming. I love the reminders of other strips and how they tie in to the story.

My daughter used to cry when we took her out of the bathtub. She loved playing in the bath. I even have videotape of her wailing away once when her mommy grabbed her up in a towel. She hates when I show that video, of course :)

I also appreciate howtheduck’s links and always enjoy them. Don’t let a few wet blankets stop them coming.

Hm. Liking all kinds of water, but not that kind of water.

My dogs are just like that. They will play in the toliet, play in thier water dishes, and play in any other water anywhere they find it. But they hate baths! LOL!

Howtheduck: How early do you get up and what time zone do you live in. It’s 3 PM where I live, and look how far back I am. Pretty silly thing to wonder about, I know!
