It’s comforting for the left to imagine that Republicans are motivated by an obsessive hatred of the President but it simply isn’t true. I kind of like the guy on a personal level and my sense is that most Republicans are at worst a bit exasperated by his rhetorical dishonesty.-What Republicans oppose are the President’s policies and actions. And they oppose them for a very good reason – most of them are bad, either in design or in execution.
