Aah, if only someone could explain it to poor Puddles… – Reminds me so much of Plucky Duck on Tiny Toons… “Water go down the hoooOOOOlllle….” and only after causing “plumbing catastrophe”, do the objects reappear…
I’ll tell you this now: I have had it up to HERE with zombies. Movies, TV shows, videos games, Halloween just around the corner, etc. It’s all been over done.
My precious baby cockapoo who is 16 now, used to bury my daughter’s stuffed animals and/or chew out one of the eyes. Unfortunately, her favorite stuffed Yoshi disappeared forever. One time we caught her in the act. We’d just put in a new lawn and came home to find her digging a huge hole in the middle of the new lawn with the little stuffed Dalmatian puppy right next to her. It was hilarious. The torn out eyeballs on my little girl’s beloved stuffed animals would seriously upset her, and I’d perform “surgeries” by gluing the eye back on the best I could. I’d tell her it was only because Cuddles didn’t want any thing cuter than her in the house — not that anything could ever be cuter than her, but she didn’t know that! Another time she had actually buried a blown up balloon, and she dug it up and was racing around like crazy with it.
Puddles must be watching too much tv. My dog won’t ever give the tv a glance even if dogs are on the screen, making noise. Does that show how dumb he is, or how smart?
Over the years, the humans in this strip have become less cartoonish and much more realistic, yet poor Puddles is still a toon. Where’s the justice? Where?
True story, a couple’s next door neighbor was asked to watch over their place while they took a vacation. Sometime later their dog had the couples pet rabbit in it’s mouth and dead to. They panicked and took the bunny from Fido, washed and cleaned it, then having the neighbors keys, returned it to it’s cage. When the neighbors returned they thanked the couple but were acting strange to the fact that before they left they noticed the rabbit was dead and before they left early that morning they buried it in their backyard. It must have seemed like the “Twilight Zone” before that mystery was solved.
While an animal understanding a zombie is pretty smart, the fact that Puddles thinks the stuffed Pooh toy was alive and is now undead, Puddles loses intellect credibility for that.
I find the way you drew the Pooh Zombie to be very offensive and I am going to write all the local newspapers to have this comic strip removed< Said very Tongue in cheek> ;D

You can’t keep a good teddy bear down! Especially not Pooh, when Nancy is around!P.S. Puddles, there is no such thing as a Zombie Teddy Bear.

I guess it’s all in honor of the season premier of “The Walking Dead” tonight. Liberty Meadows had a zombie theme also.
