Adam: I'm not making a pizza with peanut butter in place of sauce, Katy. It's gross. Katy: Fine. Then let's make two: your yawn-inducing-by-the-rules pizza, and my awesome one. Adam: You're on. What are you using for toppings? Katy: Starbursts... Pickle slices... Nacho cheese... Goldfish crackers... Adam: I might toss my cookies. Katy: Ooh, cookies! Farm-fresh Fig Newton crumbles!

So this is Katy’s version of an everything pizza. At least there’s no anchovies.

There’s a co-worker who makes a cookie pizza, which is a giant chocolate chip cookie “crust” on a pizza pan with chocolate frosting “sauce” and various chopped up candy bars for “toppings”. It’s absolutely amazing!

Interesting combination Katy! However, I think I will need to draw a line in the sand..I don’t care for Fig Newtons…

My daughter ate weird food combinations when she was young. I told her I’d be able to tell if she was pregnant, because she’d eat normal foods.

I’ll take the standard pepperoni pizza, please. Maybe a little onion and bell pepper, but I like “normal”, thank you.

Omg, Katy. Are you pregnant?

Katy is learning flavours, blendings, seasonings, and all that other stuff. When she hits college, she will do it all again. I like fig newtons. They should counteract the pickles. But I don’t know about those Starbursts. They just don’t feel right.those Starbursts are just…. just all wrong. go with the chocolate chip cookie.

My daughter did this when I was making pizza. She suggested apple slices, sugar and cinnamon. It became a favorite

Katie will soon know what an ‘internalist’ is…..

There’s a chain of pizza buffets that I visit now and then with my family, and one of their custom specialties contains peanut butter (basically a cheese pizza with a thin layer of PB under the sauce). It’s ALWAYS there, so it must be popular with certain people. Being somewhat adventurous, I tried it on my very first visit, and it was….. interesting. But in spite of “not liking” it, the interplay of the flavors is so fascinating that it has compelled me to take just one slice every time I go, if only to make sure I remember it correctly. And somehow, even though it’s second from the bottom, the darn stuff STILL manages to stick to the roof of your mouth.

I’ll have to remember that one too! Vomitrocious! I love it!

Well, I do like the idea of the Christian aspect and the waiters saying grace. But yeah, if the pizza’s not that great, then I wouldn’t be going back. Where is that chain?

Is Katy pregant? Because her toppings sounds like a possibility of what a pregnant woman might want on her pizza.
