Did you know that Vic Van Streck receives hate mail sometimes? Who could hate "Klondike Ike"? Its the world's best comic strip! I can imagine that in his line of work as a cartoonist... He probably encounters all kinds of maniacs. I want names and addresses!

Ha ha! Thank God for the Magnify function! The open lettering of “INSIDE” in the first panel, crammed together like that, looked to me like “NUDE” at first. You nasty, Pops!!

Monster, I once took a picture of a marquee type sign (a hotel somewhere in California) that read, in all caps sans-serif, “ZORRO FLICKS FILMED HERE” with extremely tight kerning of the L and I in FLICKS.Same sort of effect, only worse.
