Love my hand canopener. Used to have an electric one, glad I no longer do. Takes up a lot less space, too!!!

Yes, Puddle. The value of that system is huge. It was so worth the money. If she hadn’t spent the money on a can opener, he could have bought an even BIGGER one.

My can opener is pretty and red and hangs on the wall. My stand mixer, toaster and blender are all red… and I guess the spam was flagged before I finished breakfast. It’s workout time now (every other day).

The stereo is for the “family”. Hardly a selfish purchase. :-D

when we sold the parents house after both parents died, brother and I took down Mothers can opener that had been on the cabinet wall next to the sink from 6-1952 to 8-1987. Still worked fine and bother has it in his keep-sake book case.

There have been a lot of self promoters and sales spam going on lately on this site. I flag all of it. Don’t click their links. You could end up on infected pages. Just report it so they can remove the accounts.

So many cans have “pull tabs” these days that I hardly ever seem to use my piece of (crap) electric can opener anymore. Maybe when it finally gives out, I’ll give up my quest of finding a new one that works half-way decently and just use an old (hand) can opener I keep in a drawer in case of emergencies.

I would freak out if my guy spent $2k on anything without at least mentioning it to me first. That is a lot of money.

Guess I missed the spam – here & everywhere. Uh oh, John’s in trouble again – as my 4 year old niece once said to me when I dared to put a straw in her juice “next time ask” – from the mouths of babes…

I missed the bikini thing too. I wish I knew what it was about that caused such a huge commotion. I’ve seen plenty of other junk directing you over to outside sites, such as AlbeeOK the other day, and someone else the day before that, and I’ve seen people selling stuff from other sites, telling you to go there to buy such and such. Report it all. Don’t get curious! SPAM isn’t allowed here.

It could lead you to a page full of trojans, and 50 million cascading windows will start to pop up and never stop, or it could lead you to one page which switches itself to another and may have worms that give phishers and creeps access to your computer. Especially if you don’t have good antivirus and antimalware programs, or if you don’t keep whatever protection you have up to date. SPAM has a bad rep for a reason. It usually costs you hundreds of dollars to remove the viruses that are embedded in it, and sometimes it could cost you all your info, because they have to wipe your hard drive to get rid of it. Then your browser is left with all kinds of holes in it from the hooks the virus used, and other funky stuff starts to happen. I know, because my boss did it all several times each over the years. He’d click on anything.

Burgundy 2, exactly what I was thinking, that neither one of them know each other very well. John is ALWAYS doing something that proves it.
