I guess Gil’s buttering up job of Coach Dreybus didn’t work. Brody Albro had instructions to kick deep. If Brody would have kicked off into the endzone, it would have been a touchback by National High School Rules. Do Moonpie jokes and the sippy cup ever get old? I think not.
Okay, here’s how the game will go. Shaw(e) will expose Jarrod(e) for the QB impostor he really is. After he fails to score and throws a couple of picks, Tru(e) comes in the second half and plays great. Not enough to win the game, but enough to create a QB controversy and even more poor sportsmanship from Jarrod(e). Meanwhile, in Mopped Up Thorp…
How will J-Rod blame this return for what appears it will be a td on Tru(E)??.Maybe Tru(E) will jump off the bench and tackle him like that guy did in the college game back in the “50’s”!
I interviewed at Shaw High in 1968. I was offered a job coaching DB’s by Coach Drebus. I went to Lakewood instead. Great decision on my part. Thejudge is right. East Cleveland is a tough place. Don Rebus became principal at Shaw. Later left and went to Wycliff as principal for about 20 years.. Someone yesterday pegged him at 90 years old. He is actually 85. Still a legend.

The ads under the strip make it look like Don Drebus has a huge gut. P2 & P3 – What a coincidence, Moon is also loaded by the opening kick-off (hic).

Marti’s workstation looks like it is outfitted with a Fisher Price playset.

Shots ringing out is not out of the realm of possibility at the real Shaw High. Hope Gil brought the armored school bus to East Cleveland.

…did you ever notice you never saw Don Drebus and George Gobel together at the same place?

Just did my nightly “MUT” check and the stick’em reference made me notice something. # 5 appears to be eating a sandwich with his left hand.
