Is the guy in the second panel punting or unable to catch up to an overthrown pass? If he’s punting, he’s got a pretty strange way of releasing the ball to kick it.
In all reality , lets give J Rod some credit , he s trying to rally his team and showing some leadership . Tru Value hasn t shown any leadership or talent yet.
It’s funny. The writers have managed to get us to hate J-Rod now as the bad guy when back last summer we were all ready to hate Tru(E)..Panel two is that one of those old white footballs that you see on those old black and white NFL films that were used in night games back in the “40’s” and “50’s”?
A drive and 21-0 lead is not the only thing Shaw is mounting. The Mudlarks are not only on the road playing Shaw, but battling alien forces creating brilliant lumenosity in P3.
Into the 3rd qtr, Shaw leads 21-0, but they’re not dominating Milford, considering one TD was a defensive TD and one was a KO return for a TD. Build off of the positive drives and let JRod do his thing. With the exception of how he treats Tru(E), he IS showing leadership and starting to move the ball. Don’t mess it up and get a quick trigger finger.
The suspense is killing me here . . . I can’t wait to see Tru pull a Frank Reich come in and lead the Larks to victory in a stunning 4th quarter comeback.
J-Rod is throwing his voice through his shoulder pads in an effort to get his teammates believing in miracles, and it seems to be working. One of his lineman is getting kicked in the back, yet he remains focused on his QB.
I think it’s late enough in the day to make this bad nerdish joke that just popped into my head while writing code: I wonder if True’s favorite soup is boolean

Fortunately for Milford, several key Shaw players are raptured up in P4.

That guy on the right in P1 looks like he’s wearing mom jeans. Either that or Depends football pants.

Wait, Milford has a levitating player on their team, and they’re just using him for punting? Get that guy out on offense; the possibilities!

Down 21-0, Gil sends True into the game. He leads two scoring drives while Jarrod seethes on the bench.

The punter is just sporting the new flubber spikes.

Jarrod’s speaking in vague platitudes and annoying personality does promise success in the corporate world.
