Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Why didnât Gary publish this strip when we were arming the âmoderateâ rebels the 1st time? Regardless, the last line just made me laugh out loud!
Uh, why do you always assume âweâ are wrong?.Have you spoken with someone recently from that part of the world? Maybe heard an interview? The storyâs the same everywhere: ISIS (or ISIL, if you prefer) came in by whatever means, then turned oppressive, and the people now regret letting or inviting or electing them in..Thatâs not a U.S. perspective; itâs the universal perspective of people who have to live with them. The U.S. leadership is wrong plenty often, but not every time.
âWhy canât we let other countries run their own affairs?âWell, for one thing, we need the oil of countries with oil. When we were looking for Commies under our beds, we had to be sure that whoever was in charge wasnât a Commie. (Cf. assassination of Patrice Lumumba, according to some analysts.) âAmerican interestsâ usually determine what our govt. does, and some of our actions are short sighted and have unintended consequences. As a whole, I think most of us mean well, and that all countries have their moments, but there must be some reason why so many people are clamoring to get here.
The Tampa Bay Times, as per usual with a lot of Sunday comics, did not run the first two panels today. Those panels really were needed, as they show that Trff is not really in Bezerkistan, just mooning away in his room. Pbbbllthhh to you, TBT! :-P
âWhy canât we let other countries run their own affairs?â.We do. Thatâs why they are invading other countries.Stop blaming President Obama for everything..âWhy must one religion try to apply itâs values and beliefs on other religions?â.Why should we give up our values just because someone else thinks slaughter is a wonderful thing? Why are you using your value system to question ours? Are you a closeted tyrant?Discus it with the ISIS folks and I feel sure they will quickly answer all your questions..â ISIS may be bad from our perspective, but how about from theirs? Why are we always assumed to be right?â.Why do we think we are right? Because if we thought we were wrong, we would change our minds. Why do you assume we are wrong?Mighty narrow-minded of you.
masterskrain Travis, I wonder who in Cheneyâs office sold Trff the plans >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<I guess I missed the part where Cheney bailed out of Iraq and left them vulnerable and the part where we dumped tons of arms into Syria to arm ISIL.
Funny, Trffâs plans seem to be precisely whatâs playing out in Iraq, except the Jews in Arab lands were basically all driven out at the same time the combined Arab nations attacked the newly recognized state of Israel.
No, Cheney didnât bail out of Iraq, that was bush, right before he so eptly dodged those shoes. Only thing he ever did well, although the local worshipers can find no fault in him whatsoever.

Per this morningâs news, ISIS is approaching Baghdad. Good thing we got our troops out just in time. (Think about it.)

Doubt you can invite ISIS. If they have the weapons, they will come.

It all depends on whether the Copti can carry off a successful âGood Copt, Bad Coptâ routine.

No, that was the Libyans who did Benghazi. Obamaâs to blame for that. Unless bush is to blame for what happened during his âadministrationâ.
Carol69 over 10 years ago
Bush was only responsible for the past 5 years of disasters.
