I hear all of you….go through this day and night….one is washing himself while between my knees. Last night I had to thread myself through the maze of 3 cats to get into my bed.
When I would read a book, if the parakeet was out, he would fly down and sit on the edge of the book. That was okay, except that he would chew the edges of the top pages, and when I reached to turn the page, he would peck my finger! :-D
Reading books together (and sharing fun passages) is still fun even though I’m moving on after my final hook-up today. It was fun while it lasted, and I still have all my VHS tapes at his house until I move (took home all the important stuff, would still like to share more books).

Well, Jimbo, that’ll teach you not to tease the cat :)

What kind of person can’t read with a cat on their lap? I used to do it every day…sometimes with two or three cats.

It seems that every day a animal in the comics does what our cat does.

Silly kitty.

This is my Macushla all over. She won’t take no for an answer. If she wants to lay on my lap she finds a way.

It’s true, all cats are descended from a Finnish breed. All cats are Lap-Landers. (groans greatly appreciated)
