    Eliminating Tax subsidies is equivalent to a Tax Increase.Unless it was directed to the poor.

    They are only called ‘handouts’ when people are using them to feed and shelter themselves. They are referred to as ‘job-creating tax breaks’ if they end up in the bonus of a CEO. And I suppose that is somewhat true, when they hire cooks, gardeners, nannies, and housekeepers for their multiple palatial properties.

    Bolling has it backwards. It was really the government who forced the banks to take bailout money that the banks didn’t want.
