Ok people, I know they are film canisters. My comment was meant to be humorous way to point out how something that was so ubiquitous is now arcane.

They’re drug containers. Well, they are now.

But why were they shooting 35mm? Wouldn’t you expect a Rolleiflex or Hasselblad at least? Or a 4×5?

@argythree, that’s my concern. The use of implied domestic violence by BD is more of a measure of time passing than Boopsie being 55.

I remember sending off rolls to be developed (try telling that to the iphone generation). They were of my Nan’s 80th birthday. The photo’s I got back were a fat couple on vacation in Canada.
