My late father in law, less his heart, had plenty of money but decided to wear khakis every day. (Shirt and pants.) Just his preference. I figured he had earned the right to do what he jolly well wanted. This must be SOME sort of wedding for this crowd to get all gussied up for it. But I have to wonder if they got an invitation or if they are crashing only for the buffet.
My grandmother died with a four bedroom house full of clothing, most still with tags, and many dry rotten from age. We split the entire lot between the Lutheran and Episcopal mission societies.
my late mother’s daily “outfit” was a stained blue silk blouse and chartreuse bell bottom pants. Going out she wore a white blouse and black pants. When she dies she left 38 white poly blouses (most never worn) and about that same number of pajamas. A man bought the entire lot to send to relatives in Russia.funny story, my MIL had to have physical therapy, she showed up in a sequined sweater and poly pants, hose and heels! I had to buy her some sweat outfits , she didn’t like it at all.

“Voyd Wedding”? Please don’t say that the Bride’s last name was “Null”.,“The Sulfur Room”; is that why Burl and Jerry are there?
