Had that happen to me at the CVS Friday—all for some OTC meds, and I got 9 coupons. Surprisingly, I’ll actually use most of them for once….! don’t understand why they can’t just electronically add it to my loyalty card.
this is the main reason why I NEVER use my CVS card, a total waste of paper, since I almost never ever buy anything there except my prescriptions and the coupons are not good for any discounts on those.
A four panel record of yesterday’s tour of Ace Hardware, Winn-Dixie and Walgreens.Ace gave me a stub receipt..The others, I just hand the coupons to the person behind me and hobble homeward.
Now about when you buy a lemon ( some over a dollar now ) If you notice on the back of the receipt the blank space, it is great for jotting down info such as phone numbers, addresses, or shopping lists. Try it, make lemonade. I fold them up into my wallet and no longer have to look for something to write on. Now if they only gave you a pencil receipt!

Reminds me of a “Zack Hill” strip a few days ago; the lad bought only a pencil.

Well, you could always use it like the Sears & Roebuck catalogs of old hung in the outhouse.

Everybody pitched in to take up the slack when Circuit City, the king of 4-foot register receipts, folded.

If they printed the receipts on leather, you could use it as a belt.

K-Mart does that too. It’s annoying.

Never seen coupons or surveys on the reciept. Here they are given separately. Or they mail them to you… if you have a card with them.

Earl has a great idea for those who do not want the coupons or rating listed on the receipt.

I know toilet paper packaging calls the product “bathroom tissue” but do real people ever call it that?

Brother is always getting coupons at CVS for feminine things instead of anything he can actually use. As someone said, a complete waste of paper.

Must be an American thing, Aussie receipts have the coupons on the back. Most receipts only 3 to 5 inches long
