Spoiling the party too soon!

Well, at least we know how Gunther will be at “his” party! ;)

Awwww…high school buddies. Soon to become only someone of a similar age and geographic location who happened to occupy the same space for a while. Soon to drift apart. Bummer (heavy sigh)…

Aaah, the “co-guest of honor” is also the distraction, now, eh? – And, yyyyyup… apparently, even though Mrs. B just said that it hurts to talk to Gunth via “elektronic- tiddlywinks and such”, since she "misses his person being ‘in person’ ", they are still gonna do it, anyway… if she breaks into tears, would it have Gunther have “second second thoughts” about it all? – I wonder too, if she’ll try to wipe the screen (er, his nose) “sub-consciously”, when she sees a “digital booger” in his nose… one that’s 350 pixels, by itself ….

my house has 2 kitchens. that means 1 kitchen+1 kitchen= 2 kitchens. The kitchens are really big and one of the kitchens of my 2 kitchens store all the kitchen supplies. The other kitchen of my 2 kitchens is where my mother makes all the food using the kitchen supplies from the other kitchen. The room i spend the most time is the kitchen, i like seeing food being made in one of the kitchen of the 2 kitchens my house has. READ THIS AND I GUARANTEE THAT THE WORD KITCHEN WILL START TO LOOK WEIRD.

So far, this “party” is similar to many I attended where everyone ends up in the kitchen and not so much anywhere else.Also, I see Gunther is in his standard plaid attire.I guess he didn’t “go native”, or let Sofia change his style.

Well, I am tired this evening…perhaps it is because of that late afternoon “drag” I took with IS Katie?! I’d been watching a big sports event, and it took longer than I realized it would. Anyway, IS Katie was happy! Nothing going on tomorrow, so we’ll be able to continue our walks in a more timely manner! Obvioulsy, the payoff is going to be in Ms. “B’s” reaction to all this… I have no idea, so we’ll have to wait and see.

As an aside, I do note that they did not (as many strips did today) the 50th anniversary of the “Wizard of ID” strip.

Maybe the magic is in the Skype call or something. :)

Interesting to see Crystal alongside of Oxford pretty much in the last two days of this arc. I wonder if this could possibly be a tryout for a break-up with Knute? I think Crystal and Oxford would make a nice couple; of course, that would leave Tiffany with no one in sight (surely, she wouldn’t settle for Knute?), unless a newby steps into the picture, such as one of Dez’s crowd….

Shucks. The G-Man is still living in Plaid City.

Egads.”-————————————Hey, we had to have the voting lesson last week because Evans was doing a long, snarky build-up to the Halloween “party” (where there were apparently no snacks, no games, no dancing, only the usual crowd of people to interact with [for this you needed FLYERS?], and you were forced to tour an old warehouse to find your way out.)Perhaps Greg didn’t want to mix the serious subject with characters wearing frivolous outfits. (Actually, Luann’s clown costume would have been apropos to her didn’t-register-to-vote excuses.)

The original idea was a party for Mrs. Berger, with Gunther Skyped in, to cheer her up. Since she’d already shown that talking to him via Skype didn’t solve her problem, I’m not sure it will help. But the party isn’t supposed to be FOR Gunther, so I’m not sure why you think his involvement with Bernice and Tiffany would mean they should automatically be included.-I know I haven’t been reading this comic as long as you have, but I can’t imagine that Tiffany, for example, would be interested in a party for Mrs. Berger. Maybe Bernice (?), but, in any case, the party wasn’t supposed to be for Gunther….

Meanwhile, the Theater Twins have failed to go over everyone else’s cues and roles for the party “plan”.(Methinks, this is about to become less about Gunther and his mom, and more about L & Q as hosts.)

If this is Mrs.Berger’s kitchen it again raises the question of who got him a can of Fosters to cook with and then just left it with an an underaged individual.

So typical of group efforts—everyone thinks it’s a great idea, but one or two people do the work while everyone else enjoys the show.

It wouldn’t surprise me that they have Gunther “connecting” from a back room, come home to comfort his mom in time for Turkey Day.

What? We can’t spend another week shaming Luann because she didn’t vote?

I hate to say this, but after 15 years of reading ‘Luanne’, it’s just plain boring anymore.

But it wasn’t Crystal who thought up the idea of the party or who planned it. Since the ‘theme’ of the party was Gunther, and Luann expected to contact him via Skype, Crystal is probably just anticipating that both Gunther and his mother will enjoy the party. Not that the party is for Gunther…

(on “Connect One”:) LOL, I guess that’s why they say that “One is the lonliest number (♫)…” -It’s gonna take a lot of work, too, in order for the winner to protect their streak. That’s a full time committment* ….

It could be Mrs, Berger’s can of Foster. That would account for her broad grin in every panel.

The only time I can remember seeing Knute without his goofy grin was when he was trying to get two girls at a beach party to fight, and they were talking about clothes instead. But then, I haven’t been reading this comic for very long…
