Miracle. The old one only! Also love Holiday Inn, Christmas in Connecticut and Holiday Affair. You can keep Wonderful Life. Yuk! George Bailey is a big meanie.

Earlier generations love âItâs a Wonderful Lifeâ, âChristmas in Connecticutâ, etc. Iâm into âA Christmas Storyâ â watch it every year and got my husband a tie with a blinking leg lamp to wear on Christmas Eve. Jean Shepherdâs story with Darren McGavin as the father is the sweetest and funniest story. (Jean S. does the narration of Ralphie). Believe this is the only movie where McGavin plays a comedic role. Correct me if Iâm wrong.

June is right for once. Miracle on 34th street I can (and do) watch every year, the other two not so much.

Obviously a very subjective discussion topic. For me, if a gun is ever held to my head with a demand that I name my favorite Christmas movie, Iâm a dead man. This is because I donât play favorites. âItâs a Wonderful Lifeâ and âMiracle on 34th Streetâ (the original, of course) are both great movies and would go on my âGreatâ list. And if I have to rank them within that list it would be alphabetically.

Technically not a movie but another nominee is the classic Twilight Zone episode âNight of the Meekâ.
