Send him my way. My Dad’s gone and I have lots of repairs that need to be done.

It’s official. Dad’s gone stir crazy.He needs to get home where he has projects to do.

Close the trap door, Elly, and take the ladder away. Later….. “What noise? Must be mice up there”.

That’s the kind of attic I grew up with. No stairs, just an opening in the ceiling, and you pulled yourself up from a ladder.

We had a ‘walk up’ to attic. Steep, but nice staircase. Still not enough insulation and furnace not strong enough to heat up there on the 3rd floor.

I know this is a comic and needs a punchline, but I’d just leave him alone and let him do his repairs. Probably makes him feel useful and as long as he doesn’t do any damage, is probably helpful.

Dust needs a home too.

This confirms Elly is a terrible housekeeper! Imagine never climbing into the attic to dust. I have never known a women who didn’t clean the attic each week.

Amazing he managed to get into the attic with a ladder like that. He must have very good balance.

We just had a whole bunch of insulation blown in last spring, along with a radiant barrier on the inside of the roof. It made a big difference in our cooling bill here in the Nevada desert.

Quick, slam the loft door back!
