If I use a can opener, they ignore it, but if I pull a pull tab can open, it’s lookout here comes the kitties.

If I just walk into the kitchen, my ankles get polished.

I think Puck likes pineapple.

You can tell Puck likes the pineapple because he won’t stop eating it.

There is only one thing to do. You must stare at the human while he or she sleeps. It will wake them up. You do this every time they open a can that doesn’t contain cat food. They will soon learn who the boss really is. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Well, in defense of The Man – he has to eat too. And, yes, some of it comes out of a can. Cute comic today. I love the description of the pineapple too.

We always got our cats’ attention by opening a can. “Meow. Meow. Meow.”

Certainly not my cats, they ignore 75% of all cans being opened because they don’t sound right. The other 25% either are pop top cat food/dog food cans or their the size of a can of tuna. Heaven help you if you open a tuna can and don’t pour the “juice” (we prefer tuna packed in water and they think it’s juice) in their bowls. Or worse, you open a can of bamboo shoots or water chestnuts instead of a tuna can.

Lupin: Devastation here in the kitchen, where the man opened a can of what was thought to be cat food, but turned out to be something called “Pineapple”.
