He’s got nerves of lead.

Once upon a time, Snoopy’s doghouse could occasionally be seen in a 3/4 view.

Yeah. The roof will be the most important part of the doghouse for him. (Eight years later.)

I am actually old enough to remember a day when kids could be outside with a hammer and nails and no adult hovering over their shoulder in fear….maybe watching from the kitchen window while they do dishes.

Stagger those shingles, Charlie Brown. This has to be comfortable and have lumbar support.

This doghouse is drawn in perspective. In later years (the classic comics of the 60’s and 70’s) it was always drawn in a 2-D elevation view only. Interesting, this particular change, as with those associated with so many other aspects of this comic.

Next Charlie Brown will enlarge the inside of Snoopy’s doghouse to make room for the library, the pool table, and the Van Gogh painting…….

Charlie Brown is good at something at least. Plus, he looks so adorable in those clothes.

You gotta fix the roof… you don’t want that Van Gogh or pool table to get wet!
