Two questions: Do deer need a hunting license? Is there a limit on humans?

Hunting: the only sport in which only one side knows there is a game, and the loser dies. Level the playing field: make hunters use only antlers for weapons.

The deer have maintained a feeding station all year so they could sit and pick off the unsuspecting humans during ā€œhuntingā€ season. Wonder where they learned that?

Iā€™m guessing that Mom and Dad keep either a tally sheet or a log to track whose turn it is for the next P-T conference.

So, if the population doubles in another two (or even one!) generation, that would put the total population at 14.25 billion by 2080 or so? Then, 28.5 billion by the first quarter of the 22nd century!!
