This is really smart and teachers should be proud of him, at least for good observation.

Hunting: the only sport in which only one side knows there is a game, and the loser dies. Level the playing field: make hunters use only antlers for weapons.

The deer have maintained a feeding station all year so they could sit and pick off the unsuspecting humans during “hunting” season. Wonder where they learned that?

I’m guessing that Mom and Dad keep either a tally sheet or a log to track whose turn it is for the next P-T conference.

Calvin in today’s world would be suspended, put into therapy and/or jail, along with his parents.

So, if the population doubles in another two (or even one!) generation, that would put the total population at 14.25 billion by 2080 or so? Then, 28.5 billion by the first quarter of the 22nd century!!

Calvin and Hobbes are one of the a few comic strips, that can make me, laugh at loud. Todays is no exception (truly funny).

Let a kid talk like that tin school these days and you will find the swat team, social services and the MSM at the parents’ front door.

I am curious why you said both parents hopefully work. Is there some reason you don’t approve of one parent staying home with the children?

Calvin’s parents have so many conferences with his teacher that they probably have their own personalized coffee mugs at his school.

Oh dear Calvin is such a riot. Seriously the deer have gotten brazen this past few years. I noticed they gather in groups in the parking lot and don’t scurry when you approach.

That should put ‘game’ hunters on notice.
