Don’t make sweeping generalisations about race: you appear to be asserting that no white people can like Obama. I’m white, and think that Obama is doing a good job, in the face of much opposition.

You do realise that the term “mulatto” is considered to be derogatory, if not downright racist? Or was that your intention?

As long as people keep thinking in black or white, east or west, god or allah and don’t start thinking how we are all people, the world will never become a good place to live. Why keep pointing at differences? Live your life and let other people live their life. Stop the hatred please!

These comments are ok until some stupid person start in on politics, then it’s on like popcorn. Some folks like Obama, some don’t. Just agree to disagree and move on

I knew some people who were cool to socialize with but lousy in a professional environment and others who were the opposite. Rarely have I found anyone who was good in both environments.

Good going, Andrew. But I shudder to think that we “white” folk are all like Rita. Some people seem to think that.

Criticizing Obama and his policies is NOT racism, though that “just because you’re white” crack certainly is. And why do you assume that exoticdoc2 is going to vote for Jeb Bush? You need to really cut back on the kool-ade.

Love today’s strip, but OMG on the comments section. The ubiquitous rhetoric from the opposition is unrelenting. (smh)

WOW I used to enjoy this strip before it turned into a forum for sheep on both ends of the political spectrum to yell at each other everyday. You guys are talented I always love the art and the writing but I grow bored of the political soup this turns into each day.

John & Scott…be careful, or you might have to move over to the ‘editorial comics’ section.

“Mulatto” is an outdated concept. This is the first time in decades I have heard the term used outside of a history textbook. The concept of race is also rather outdated, but we don’t seem to be able to abandon it quite yet. Right now, race is a catchall for the ways people are treated differently based on prejudice plus some cultural factors.

As a comic strip fan that enjoys reading comic strips, there are times someone would put heavy criticize a strip. I’m one.

Obama has done some good things and bad things. But there are some people on the left, no matter what, you can’t criticize our Commander in Chief. I’m sorry, but that’s wrong! I remember W doing no matter he did was evil, even a war criminal. That’s stupid, while it seems like our C in C can send some drone in and do the same thing in killing some bad guys and innocents. I, for one do allow for criticism, after all we don’t want no crazy person killing cartoonists like they did to that French magazine yesterday.

Rita might be a Republican, but as being a conservative, I think she’s pretty dumb.
