To avoid the snickers of middle school students, many schools have chosen to rename the planet Uranus.
Pronounce it correctly. It’s URINE-iss.And where’s Pluto?
first there was a Pluto, then there was no Pluto, then there was
Pluto is at Disneyland
In my school they call it URTUSHIE.
How about Urectum?
Or, to put it in terms of Astrology, Neptune is rising over the moon of Uranus.
That kid Colon always never forgot the name of that planet.
“NASA “accidentally” destroyed Pluto with a satellite, and they are trying to soften the blow…”Now, that’s just goofy…
I wonder if they changed the name of European too.
I’m not peein … you are
says Dewed
Yea, it’s Eurowhizzen now.
That’s a good one.
We used to pronounce it with a long A rather than a short I sound. Nothing to snicker about. Wonder who decided it needed a different pronunciation?
Any students laugh at the teaching that u-RAY-nus is on its side? It rotates with its poles being east and west poles!
