Nice try Peter, back to the books!

Finish your homework, Peter, or you won’t live to see next year!

And he’ll be a junior again next year and the year after that and the year after that…

Any old excuse will do!

Peter better get back to the books keep piling up all that reading and homework.

This strip was so much better when it was a daily.

I feel for Peter. I had the same problem in the spring. I had a lot to study for but after a long winter I couldn’t concentrate so I’d go outside for “just a few minutes.” Alas, A’s become B’s, and B’s become C’s that way…

Nice try, Peter, get to work on your homework right now.

And to all you seniors who actually have “senioritis,” I was witness to an assistant principal advising a classroom that he had kids in his office crying because they’d already spent all the money for all the stuff that goes along with graduating, and they weren’t going to graduate because they didn’t have the grades. You have to keep pushing until you’re actually across that line and you walk across the stage and get that diploma. Don’t think it’ll be handed to you.

I have sinking feeling that Peter will be one of a rare few who flunks out of state college.
