Whose thinking that sinister “maybe”? Could it be Johnny Nothing?

The Thought Police will find out….

The Science Museum seems to have sprouted a new wing overnight; the vibrators stacked along the side are no-longer visible.

And where are the giant stairs leading to the small stairs? Something is amiss here…

The science Museum has morphed into the Sate capitol building?

The director, Anja Nu, in the last two panels looks like Jacqueline Susann. Maybe the play is called “Valley of the Dulls.”

For a dramatic twist The Blank will turn out to be Fearless Fosdick. I don’t know if I can wait a year for the unmasking.

Regarding the unattributed thought balloon, that sinister “Maybe.” Notice how it leads off panel? It’s my thought.

After all, one can only hope…

In the third panel the director looks 20 years younger than she did in the previous panel. Maybe instead of just standing still, this dreary strip is now moving backwards.

I think the old byrd is in deeper than we think.

She must’ve put on eye makeup between 2 & 3. Looks like a Maybelline before and after shot.

All you early birds beat me to it. This is the third version of the building. The platform is gone, the vibrators are gone, the high handrail is gone, a new wing has been added, landscaping has been added. Maybe the museum was being transported in sections, like the pig on wheels, to the location it is now.

Someone’s been beating on Anja Nu with an ugly stick.

Sydney Phillips, I’m still curious how you are so accurate in predicting what will happen at certain dates. You told us when the rock would be thrown through the window, that it would concern a former story, and now you tell us that there will be no action until the 23rd.

The suspense is just killing me!

Did you read the Big Brass and Brain stories of 1974 ? If you did, you’d recall a “see-the-future” female named “Crystal” who worked for both bad guys.

Well, she died … and I bought her “Crystal Ball”!

Well, don’t lose her crystal ball, it is certainly fine tuned! It threw the rock through the window exactly on time. I am impressed! I now await the 23rd. This is more exciting than the story itself.

Wow! The Science Museum has really grown!

I rather like the start of his TMS introduction, you know the part about _CAPTURING the “ABSURDITIES” of LIFE (?) Brother! Right on !

I spent all day trying to stay awake during some of the most dreadfully boring workplace training that you can possibly imagine. In order to stave off the inevitable mental breakdown, I took refuge in my doodles. Here’s one of the items I sketched while I was supposed to be paying attention and taking notes:

That’s a hot rod Pig on Wheels, Flight Suit! Is he racing to see the play at the newly enlarged Science Museum?

I can’t decide which is the ugliest, Anja Nu or the cat in Sunday’s Crimestoppers Textbook…

He might be, Bill. But given his sense of urgency, perhaps he’s chasing those criminals in that AMC Pacer who threw the motivational, positive-affirmation message through Dick’s window?

Or perhaps Elephant Girl’s mount is stampeding, and the Pig is trying to get out of the way?

The hot rod pig on wheels might be running from the cat in Sunday’s Crimestoppers Textbook! That cat was up to no good!

I like that description of the message, Flight Suit. Using an AMC Pacer to deliver it helped make the message memorable!
