How does that sign stay erect on the top of POLICE HDQTRS? I see no cables anchoring it, and it is top heavy…

But I see no sign of said framework, Gweedo.

I think Liz has gone to stay at Junior’s and Tracy is still at the rehersal. At least this episode is giving us a little more to think about. I loved all the ideas you all posted yesterday as to what the sign might have said. I haven’t posted a comment for a few months now but rest assured I have been readig yours. I especially like the early comments from Flight Suit and margueritem every day.

I thought it was a theme bar called POLICE HOOTRS.

Man, the artist should brush up on his skills.

You know ‘NOTHING’ is happening when readers are forced to talk about the architecture and structural safety of a sign reading : “POLICE HDQTRS”

Brozman may have missed his calling. That sign and building come at you from the same ANGLE every time, If nothing else that tells me he is consistent

We may well have a budding Frank Lloyd Wright on our hands (?). Architectures loss, comics strips gain (?)

The sign should actually read: “There is nothing instead of something BECAUSE it’s Dick Tracy!”

So someone has written a book on this sign, why didn’t they just tape a note to a rock and throw it through a window

The sign is not at police headquarters but at DT house. Officer has been assigned to keep track of DT house.

In re the consistent shot of “Police HOOTRS” it has been said “a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds…”

Police Hootrs? That reminds me of the police women at the station that Arnie’s character works out of in the move “Last Action Hero”.

Yes an officer was supposed to watch Tracy’s house, which explains how someone was able to erect a sign on the lawn

Those stairs on Police Hdqtrs are really something. The risers appear to be around 20”. Not only would one have a difficult time climbing them, but would have the worry of the Police Hdqtrs sign falling on them if a strong wind came up!

I can hardly wait until Sunday’s full-color strip with the latest version of the growing Science Museum and Crimestopper’s Textbook with more good advice.
