Yep, right, Obama’s gon’na close down all American oil companies and drive us into the hands of the House of Saud. Actually, I’ll see how this works out on actual lease expansion.

As if nobody realizes that the President is counting on the NIMBYs to block this. “We need to protect the Alaskan Wilderness, so we’ll open oil drilling on the Atlantic coast.”“NOT in MY backyard!!!”“Right. The Alaskan Wilderness IS our backyard.”And I’ve always thought that if we buy all the oil from everybody else…When THEIR oil is gone, we still have OUR reserves.

At least you got our evolution correct. cavemen did originate in Africa.

The folks who MOVED TO ALASKA, like Palin’s parents, like the idea of those annual oil revenue payments they get, so the latecomers especially, who have no interest in perserving anything in that state, love oil.

I am not defending President Obama here. I don’t know all the particulars. But I do know that EVERY president MUST Go along with certain things, or he will get in trouble, sometimes serious trouble.The difference between Obama and G.W. Bush is, I believe, that George was a willing participant. I believe Obama to be less so.
