It’s Friday! Spending some time today with my daughter and great-granddaughter, it will be a wonderful time.

Looks very likely that next Friday I will be getting Hoppy!! Who do I thank for pointing out that Las Vegas really isn’t that far away from me? I decided to drive an hour further to explore the Valley of Fire State Park and camp out under the stars on Thursday with Freddog, then meet Miss Queen and Mr Hoppy Friday morning! So excited!!!

Jessegooddoggy that was me and I feel so happy that this has worked out!!! My Dad used to go to Bishop and Independence for his favorite trout fishing spot so it hit me that you were not that far for a meet in the middle. how very cool is this !

I wouldn’t want to mess with snails that were half my size!

Brad got next Friday off so if things don’t change, Hoppy will be making a road trip. He went to the vet this morning to get neutered and his shots. I’ll pick him up late this afternoon.

It’s so nice outside today that all of the windows and doors are open.

Those banana slugs are the worst! My sister lived in SF, Petaluma and Santa Rosa for 30 years after graduating from high school and tried to describe them to me. I didn’t get it until I went up to see her. OMG! GROSS is the only word I can come up with.

Well kitties and snails this morning what a combination. I try to keep the snails away from the kitties the foamy drool is the worst.

Hmmm…so many traveling folks on here. Could some computer savvy person set up a spread sheet for locations where we all live….then if someone is driving near…they could drop in, visit or stay for a while. I live in Jackson, Tennessee and I-40 runs right through my farm..70 miles from Memphis and 120 miles from Nashville.

Hoppy…..I am SO excited for you. What great cooperation between TC fans to be pulling this adoption/transport off just to get a kitty a new, wonderful home.

I live just outside Houston. If you come down this weekend, we will be in the mid 70’s so bring a tee shirt! >^..^<
