So Noah sends his âtweetâ out into the newly cleansed world, where all who ignored him were swept away by flood waters, and no one answers at allâŠ-But who needed Twitter for people talk in ancient days, when God spoke to humans through burning shrubbery?
Should (sorry, when) the world starts over again, The National Debt and The Debt Clock will cease to exist. We can begin over again with the economy and try not make the stupid mistakes with money like many have done before.
ââŠ..An interesting entry in the Rational Wiki showing the size the Ark would have to be, proving that itâs could NOT be run by just 8 people, and that the entire flood is scientifically impossible.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. I love fairy tales!
masterskrain: Allegories, myths, parables, or some other truth in fictional form, because mere data is inadequate. Of course, so are some fairy tales. The trick is to get beyond the surface data and get the fact inside. Technical term: demythologizing.
Proof? The entire story is an insult to human intelligence like stories of virgin births, women springing fully formed from the ribs of men or being turned into salt, food falling from the desert sky. The propagators of these silly stories should have the burden of proof, except that they take it on âfaith.â So question to believers in these tall tales; why should I have faith in stories handed down from thousands of years ago from ignorant, superstitions, primitive people? Isnât your âfaithâ really just faith in the veracity of their stories?
Whatâs with Twitter when you can text message anyone anywhere anytime even w/o an i-phone, or pad. I do it from my computer and still just pick up the land line when I want to talk to someone.
But then, the Arks would not be floating ships, but rather compounds set above projected sea level rise. As the nations of the world drowned, their people scattering, you would be a smug doomsday prepper as the fields flooded and the population was decimated by plagues and famines while the global sea rise maintained an average rate of almost one foot per year for the better part of a millennium. All the art and science of the world would be lost, aside from what could be kept by the few who maintained small enclaves and kept whatever knowledge they could take with them alive by any means they had available.

Hmm. I would accept the end of twitter as a sign there really is a god. Either that, or 1 million free airlines points.

A one-L lama is a holy man. A two-L llama is a beast of burden. A three-L lllama is a big fire.
