our local ‘liberal’ media newspaper not only still runs mallard daily, but in the limited space on their sunday funnies ,they expand the same size daily strip to fill the entire width of one page…..and funny strips like ‘pearls before swine’ and ‘queen victoria’ are not run at all

Pab, Mark Tatulli talks about referencing other cartoonist’s work in his latest book (he has done it a lot himself - his Peanuts references are great). I got the impression that he would be flattered.
