I’m sure the colors in today’s comic have very specific names. I love them together. Help me, somebody. What colors am I looking at. And don’t say brown, etc. Taupe? Aqua green? Pink salmon?

Gaijinrabbit, if you upload a pic to Photobucket.com, once it’s uploaded, you can click on the little gear icon superimposed over the top right corner of your pic. Then click on “share,” and you’ll be presented with several text fields containing code that you can copy and paste into various destinations. These text fields will appear under the words, “photo links.”Click inside the text field marked “HTML thumb,” and the necessary code should be automatically copied to your computer’s clipboard. Then paste that code into the comment box here, and you should wind up with a clickable thumbnail of your pic.Unfortunately, Photobucket does not seem to have kept their technology totally compliant with current Web standards, so if you click the thumbnail I posted, for example, you might have trouble viewing the full-size image in Apple’s Safari browser, or on certain phone browsers. For this reason, I recommend checking out other image hosting sites, such as imgur.com, as I believe they may provide similar embed codes but be more compatible with a greater variety of modern browsers.

So now clickable thumbnails provided by imgur, but check out Picassa, Instagram, and the other photo hosting sites. They all probably have similar options.

The way to use “code” to post an image is problematic in that i can’t post it without GoComics computer thinking that I’m trying to post something.its kinda like the line in Allice in Wonderland, you can’t get there from here. The first thing you need to do is get the URL of the image you want to post. I use BING for this. You can use what ever serch you want just as long as you can get the URL.Do an image search, click on the photo you like, click on it again. At this point you should have just that image and nothing else on your screen.Copy the address off of the little window where you type words or addresses when you are doing a serch.that give you your URLExplaining the next part is the hard part.

The code for posting an image is below. I am putting a space between each letter/character/key stroke. When you do it it, you won’t leave any spaces between,EXCEPTBetween the IMG and the SRC you will leave one space. That is the only space. And don’t leave out the commas. …Any deviation, and the computer won’t recognize what you are trying to do. …< i m g s r c = ’ URL ’ width = ’ 350 ’ >…You use 350 as a width if you want to keep your image in the comment box. If your image is tall try to keep it that width.iI will go to 450 for a wider image, but it sends the right side slightly out of the box.

@margueritemThat’s Mother Thalweg’s pearl-necklace stealing younger sister, Evangeline, the one who spent 9 months of her senior year in high school tending to poor, sickly cousin Cordelia.
