Leapin' lizards! Redheads require 20 % more anesthetic before surgery than people with other colored hair. Nancy Knight of the National Center for Atmospheric Research found identical 2 snowflakes in 1988! Watching a heart pumping, 90 minute horror movie burns almost 200 calories!

1. Nice Annie drawing.2. I can’t believe there are actually people out there whose job it is to study individual snowflakes to see if there are two that are alike.3. Speaking of horror movies, anyone watch that new movie It Follows? I’m trying to decide whether I want to watch it and I’m trying to get people’s opinions.

It’s not the research, it’s the upkeep on the National Museum of Snowflakes and Snowflakes…

I dunno. From the look of that paper, that could be a secret code in Japanese or some similar picto-language. Maybe the identical ones mean: “Message repeats”.

Running 2 miles will burn about 200 calories. And it will use less time.

Nancy Knight was so excited she immediately took the snowflakes in to have them bronzed.

Redheads really are very different. Here’s a recent article on the topic:http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/12/07/1043223/-The-science-of-Red-Hair

The Gilbreths were probably better off not knowing this about red hair; Frank and Lillian Gilbreth had 12 children, most of them redheads. The kids were born at the beginning of the twentieth century, over a span of seventeen years. And most, if not all, of them got tonsillectomies as children.

I’d sooner burn 200 calories in a 35-minute workout on a Stairmaster than watch a 90-minute heart-pumping movie.

Doesn’t just existing for 90 minutes burn a good 150 calories or so?
