Thank you VistaBill. I though I was hallucinating. Now I realize it is just Locher’s storyline.
PS: What’s wrong with Catchem’s face? He looks like he got hit with a “Stupid Stick”.
None of the faces in today’s strip look anywhere close to “on model”. Sam’s head is too large and misshapen, Liz’s face in panel 2 is akin to a picasso painting, Liz’s face in panel 3 is radically different from the panel 2 version and “Teevo”, if that is him, looks like his face is a piece of warped cardboard.
I mourn for this strip. I’d rather see it cancelled than continue in it’s current crippled form.
Hi, I was a Tracy fan for years. Even before Diet Smith and his Space Coupe…) I had high hopes when I saw the strip had been resurrected, but they have not panned out. Still, the people who comment are clever and that makes viewing worth while. I thought I should log in and let you know. Also, I have to say that Tracy in a play is a pretty weak plot device.
Are we sure that’s Liz in both the second and third panels? I mean, we’re seeing different head shapes, different eye shapes, different hair, different lipstick color, different mouth shapes, different ties and only one of them has an earring. Even by the standards of Locher/Brozman that’s a lot of variation. Maybe it’s somebody else (Basil Exposition’s sister, perhaps?) in panel three…
I think Lizz looks a bit strange because, for the first time since being made Chief, she is smiling!
Question: In April 18th Crimestoppers, it says that we should always ‘ask for credentials’ from solicitors, but yesterday warned us that false IDs are a dime a dozen.
I know I should be paranoid, but instead I am only confused.
Looking at Liz’s eyes, I am reminded of Agent Karen Ennen. Are we ever going to see her again? If not, I have to wonder what the whole point was of introducing her.
Meanwhile…
What Liz says “Crew,” is she addressing her entire staff, or is “Crew” the first name of that guy in panel three? Let me guess: His last name is Kutt.
Hey, man in dat dang ol’, dang ol’ panel three was that dang ol’, dang ol Lt. Teevo? Man I thought it was that dang ol’ dang ol Texas Ranger, dang ol’ Boohower, tell you what?
Liz(z)’ 2-star general’s rank on her epaulets (shoulderboards, Mattie) and her captain’s bars on her collar might indicate the rank of the guy she stole the shirt from when she got dressed this morning. Maybe she got dressed in the dark and grabbed the wrong shirt. Wouldn’t be Teevo; he’s a Lt.
Flight Suit, Karen Ennen went back to the FBI offices. She came to Naperville lookin’ for a little “side action” and got all tangled up with Naperville’s doofus and darned near got eaten. Not exactly, but close, to what she had in mind.

I’m with you on ending this inane strip but then I’d miss you guys with all the great comments. Don’t worry, Locher never reads the comments…

The idea: “Let’s all leave the station empty and go down and watch the play!!” Could it be?

Yesterday, Tracy had his overcoat on and today it’s off. Perhaps he was too warm.

Liz(z) looks like she’s had too many twinkies in the second panel.
If that’s the useless Lt. Teevo in the third panel he looks nothing like what he did when he debuted which was sorta like a Bob Hope looking guy.
Consistency is not a key for the “artistic” team.
