Just an aside – I used to be a truck driver and when I drove a trailer full of “chicken” nuggets to be delivered to McDonalds it scared the heck out of me. First of all, I drove a dry van, not a refrigerated truck. Think about the amount of chemicals they would have to induce into the “chicken” to be shelf stable in summer. Secondly, I wondered if there was any meat that could be shelf stable. I swore of McDonalds after that.

My dad gave up being Catholic for Lent many years ago and couldn’t have been happier. It was before I was born so it wasn’t forced on me.
