One time when my nice was a baby and was pooing green. a ¨spill¨ happend.. one the babys high chair my sister thoght it was guacamole…and guess what she did?
I had that done to me too Sheik. Ewwww. I showed them though. I spit it back out on the plate. Then I made gagging sounds all through lunch.
My mom was a great one for saying she could eat after any one of her kids. As long as Elizabeth hasn’t bet at Farley’s dog food yet, Elly is good to go.
Susan, I’m with you. I like raisins, but once they’re cooked into something, they change texture and are yuck. They’re so mushy it’s hard to even pick them out so I just don’t eat anything with raisins cooked into it.
Call out Protective Services – raisin alert!!! Another reason to put Elly behind bars – oh whoops it was Jon. And be sure & put those kids in that nice Foster Care system we have in America – and before you all scream – yes, I worked in it until I couldn’t stand what it was doing to kids & families and had to get the h*ll out.
Thanks dsom8 my dinner came up. That’s two meals today. Note to self: don’t read links. ;)
Cooked raisins shouldn’t be a choking hazard. Grapes however are since they are about the same size of a child’s throat. That’s why you need to slice them in two.
What a pleasant relief! No screaming and yelling, either from the characters in the comic strip or the commenters here. Just a nostalgic discussion about raisin ;>) kids.
As a rule I don’t like raisins in my food either. Looks like rat droppings. But I was hungry one morning and there was this Sunbelt brand granola with dates and raisins. This stuff is good. I eat it all the time now.
mrs luke, haha my youngest once fed our cat raisins - we were out of cat food (I was actually shopping for a bag at the time), he thought, hmm, what do I like when I’m hungry, yes, raisins! (and no, don’t y’all foist children’s protective services on me, he was 7 at the time).
Fortunately cats don’t tend to like sweet things so she hardly ate any of them.

Once in a Japanese restaurant we convinced a friend that the big green blob of wasabi on his plate was green pea purée.

After watching my little brother and sister eat at that age, I would NEVER eat anything left on the tray!

Hey, when you’re a mom, you take your meals when you can get them.

lol I can tell by reading the comments who the moms are and who ISN’T a mom.
Before becoming a mom, watching my own mom finish our meals grossed me out. Now I understand completely!

As long as it’s raisins (and not dog food!), how bad could it really be?

Today’s comic is great for weight control. My breakfast just came up. Yuck!

Yup, it figures! She finds a new way to disgust us every day. I’m surprised she didn’t scream at the raisins first.
At least she didn’t feed them to the dog. Grapes and raisins cause kidney and liver damage in animals, as do onions.

Hey Sheik Yerbouti, I once mistook horseradish for potatoe salad. You can guess the rest. I was young, that’s my excuse.

@Hildigunnurr It’s not that cats don’t like sweet things, they just can’t actually taste sweet foods. For them, it’d be a chewy, flavourless thing.
