Can I just say that I am so ECSTATIC to have had girls & not boys. With 2 nephews I already knew of the perils involved with diaper changes. I could NOT have handled trying to teach a boy how to go wee. My husband was deployed several times when my girls were at that age, so it would have been me doing the teaching. I’m such a prude I had a bad time with the girls. I could not go with them in the room. My oldest didn’t get fully trained until preschool when she saw all the other kids doing it too. She slept through the night with a dry diaper at 18 months. Everyone told me I wasn’t leaving her on the potty long enough. One day she had breakfast & lunch there! She read books, colored, etc…no activity in the necessary area. Finally after lunch I gave up and put her diaper on. She went right away! My youngest was trained by my sister in one day. With her having had boys she said a girl was easy. To this day I can’t “go” with anybody there. When I was in the hospital for a blood clot in January they told me I’d have to use a bedpan. I told them “NOT HAPPENING”. They relented and let me use some chair thing. ugh.
“It is what is known as a “Comic Strip”. Frequently involving “made-up” scenarios.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Thanks for the revelation, Sport..(J’ever notice how some people feel the need to bring us back to rality?)
I read about a urinal manufacturer who has etched what looks like a fly in the bottom of the bowl. They said it has greatly reduced misdirected output in public men’s restrooms.
Ohboy! A potty-joke thread! Stopped reading this strip yesterday; I went back and deleted Pickles from my custom page today; just stopping by to say goodbye. Goodbye.
Really, you ALWAYS stand? Even when you, have to sit? And then you never pee, just poo? Why not always sit, and then not worry about whether or not you missed the target. And no, I am not a Liberal Socialist, but that would only matter to a bigot.

Definitely something like that, Nelson.

I bet Earl misses the target once in a while too.

Did Sylvia lose custody of Nelson? He’s always with the Pickles. And where is Nelson’s dad?

I used to float a cheerio in the toilet to give my son something to aim at…….I hope he is more careful and if he is then his wife is happy.

I don’t use water to rinse my mouth after I’ve brushed my teeth, I only use water to rinse out the sink.

I babysit grandchildren every day while both parents work, sometimes at my house but usually at theirs. It’s not an uncommon thing.
