I would N-E-V-E-R give my husband that kind of stupid ultimatum about his diecast car layout._______________
When we were dating, my husband had a gorgeous 1977 Firebird. When we got married, a lot of the ladies I worked with told me, âNow that youâre married, you can make him get rid of that âtoyâ.â I said, "First, I donât âmakeâ him do anything, and he doesnât âmakeâ me do anything. Weâre a team. Second, if he ever gets rid of that âtoyâ, IâLL kill him!"
If they live in a typical tract neighborhood, then the Pattersonâs house and the Enjoâs house probably have similar floor plans. We know the Pattersonâs house has 3 bedrooms (they added a fourth for April later) and a basement big enough for Johnâs workshop, so the Connie/Enjo house is probably similar. Besides, they wouldnât move into a house where Brian and Dawn had to share a room.
Spoiler: Connie later returns and moves into Mrs. Bards old house. With a husband, Lawrence and two-teenaged step daughters. Into a house previously occupied by a childless widow and her dogs.
My wife used to complain I spent hours reading about football online. I told her fine, I would stop reading, and instead would go out to bars with friends sheâs never met, drinking til all hours of the night, spending money and doing who knows what before sneaking in to the house at 3am.
She never complained about my football reading again.

So is that why the Enjo family moved from wherever they used to live?

Well, both the wife and the trains went. They just happened to wind up in the same place again.

I never told my hubby to get rid of his HO models. In fact, I even bought him some for his birthdays.

Sounds a bit strange having a 12 (or so) year old boy using a word like âfabulous.â Awesome or cool or rad, yes. Or even âfabâ.
