According to Harvard University, the most common birth date in America is September 16th. In Gainesville, GA, it is illegal to eat fried chicken with anything other than your bare hands! New York Giants outfielder Bobby Thomson hit the game-winning home run known as the shot heard round the world in 1951- the baseball has yet to be found!

It’s very interesting that September 16th was the first pick in the draft lottery of 1970. (Or was it the 14th – I remember it was one day off from mine, which is the 15th.)
