Is this the dog Snoopy was engaged to but her father disapproved?

Lila?! Uh-oh… Hopefully this won’t end up as much of a tearjerker as Snoopy Come Home was.

Lila also appears in the early ‘90s special "Snoopy’s Reunion." Some of the history of Snoopy and Charlie Brown special differs from the strip, but the part about Lila is consistent.

In some cultures, dinner is served at noon and supper is the evening meal.

Now I can see from where Frank Miller got inspiration for “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For”

Snoopy is luckier in love than Charlie Brown. But what can you expect, those aviator types get all the girls.

Snoopy is a used dog, and he looks especially used in that last panel…….

I’m looking forward to this storyline. I’ve only been reading Peanuts for over 4 years and some commenters have been reading it for 40+ years!xxx

I grew up with the understanding that “dinner” was the big — the “main” — meal of the day. If the main meal was in the middle of the day, we had breakfast. dinner, and supper. If the main meal was in the evening, we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
