So he’s going to talk to the bugs and rats consuming the corpses? Thing is, whatever religion you believe in (or not), a dead body is a dead body. The ‘soul’, if you choose to believe in that, could be anywhere, and there’s no reeason for it to hang around a cemetery.Seems a fairly pointless exercise to me … and where’s the funny?

The above comment doesn’t deserve a response. As the comedian said, “You can’t fix stupid!”

The brave soldiers (of both genders) that the jerk chooses to dismiss died so that the jerk could be a jerk. How’s that for irony? Well, I choose to dismiss the jerk and honor the fallen soldiers.

OK, so maybe Heenan isn’t from the US and isn’t familiar with our country and culture and doesn’t know about Memorial Day. I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, here. Even so, it still seems a bit rude.

I must be living in an alternate universe! Can’t believe the crass comments and thoughtless opinions regarding human sacrifice.

Armed Forces’ Day is to honor those in uniform.Veterans’ Day is to honor those who were in uniform, but have since removed it.Memorial Day is to honor those who never had the chance to remove the uniform.

She has a point, although it is never too late I see too many people who wait until a relative is dead before they try to fix things with them. They would appreciate it a lot more if you did it while they were still alive.
Better late than never is a great motto in this case.
