I like our Subaru transmission. But all the worse than useless electronic garbage they put in all the new models drives me up a wall. E.g. the “keyless remote entry” lets people unlock your car with a laptop if you use it (see Bruce Schneier article) – but using a plain key sets off the alarm! I just want the AWD and CVT – without all the buggy electronics.
