My mom could not understand who would sit around and watch The Weather Channel 24 hours a day. She could not get the concept that it was always on so that you could get the weather in a few minutes, then turn it off.

The soft fonts and blue background combined with the mellow jazz makes watching the weather channel very soothing, almost hypnotic.

If the paid television monopolies ever go to a “per channel” menu, Weather Channel would be one of the five we keep.

Here in Boston, our cable provider (Verizon) has dropped the Weather Channel and now uses accu-weather. Definitely not as good

I love The Weather Channel. If my cable provider dropped it I would protest.
