BTW, I am Canadian. We are not allowed to carry firearms here, openly or concealed. We are getting more and more gunfights in the streets.

The button isn’t connected to anything in most big cities, as Varnes said, it’s a placebo.The same goes for the close door button in elevators. About the only places you can find that button working are hospitals.

And the blue majority that does not act this way is so bound by the Mafia code of omerta that when the shots do come from the other direction, they are the ones who catch it. The choice of weapons doesn’t really matter much in a face to face between two people, However, there are relatively few mass murders with knives or swords.BTW we have a tiny fraction of deaths by firearms in Canada compared to the U.S. to the point of insignificance.

Let’s get racist here about gun ownership. Anti gun(as well as anti drug)laws have always started against minorities.Proper gun safety and maintenance should be taught in school along with sex ed and driver’s ed to anyone who wants a diploma.Teaching a kid to hunt and clean his kill will give him a healthy respect for machinery that could be misused and dangerous in unknowing hands. take the mystery out of it and it is just something else to be cleaned and used properly.
